Our Purpose

Within the CRDN Design Assurance Laboratory at Medtronics Mounds View site we focus on providing Quality support across all aspects of PDP from pre-market product development to post-market product surveillance. We participate in the design process to ensure the performance and safety of the complex electromechanical devices we develop are assured and maintained throughout the product lifecycle.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned :

Perform complex electrical and hardware tests and be able provide updates to the broader team

Use Microsoft Word and Excel for data collection and documenting processes

Identify document and improve known or potential issues in the lab

Apply and maintain quality standards for all activities associated with product testing

Contribute to investigations associated with product testing

Comply to all applicable department site-wide procedures and regulations

Required Knowledge and Experience :

Requires minimum of 4 years of relevant experience

Requires high school diploma or equivalent (United States) vocational or technical education or certification (all other countries)

Requires basic use of electrical instruments such as a multimeter oscilloscope etc.

Laboratory experience

Suggested Knowledge and Experience :

Knowledge of FDA regulations and ISO 17025 as well as working in a regulated environment.

Electrical testing experience

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD) : $52800.00 - $79200.00

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).

The base salary range is applicable across the United States excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience certification / education market conditions and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
