The HR Assistant provides administrative and operational support to the Human Resources department. This position assists with recruiting activities prepares offer letters and supports employee engagement initiatives. The HR Assistant also contributes to HR technology management by assisting with the applicant tracking system HRIS data entry reporting and process improvements. This role is critical in delivering a positive candidate and employee experience while supporting the overall efficiency of the HR function.

Responsibilities

Represent the company at college and career fairs engage with candidates and support follow-up communication.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records both electronic and hard copy in accordance with legal and company requirements.

Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee and candidate information at all times.

Qualifications

12 years of experience in human resources recruiting or administrative support preferred.

Experience with HRIS or ATS systems required; ability to learn new systems quickly.

Knowledge of HR processes and best practices; familiarity with employment laws and compliance requirements is a plus.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

High level of professionalism discretion and integrity in handling confidential information.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel Outlook Teams).

Demonstrated ability to build strong working relationships and provide excellent service to candidates employees and managers.
