The BCBA will provide support to individuals and their families by coordinating and providing services in Applied Behavior Analysis, function analyses and assessment, behavior acquisition and reduction procedures, and adaptive life skills.
Support policies and procedures by training Registered Behavior Technicians and communicating expectations to parents and service providers. Collaborate with the Program Manager on service delivery, client needs, and concerns. Work with families and providers to integrate interventions, attending meetings as needed. Complete assessments and reports on time, following clinical policies. Ensure oversight of Registered Behavior Technicians in compliance with guidelines and maintain documentation as required by funding sources. Adhere to accreditation standards and HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality.
Requirements
Education : Master’s Level : Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
Providers of behavior analysis must have licensure or certification on active status at the time services are provided.
Behavior analysts must possess additional skills to be successful in their role. These include strong verbal and written communication, time management and organizational skills, problem-solving, and competency in using a computer to access information and navigate the on-line system. They must be in good physical condition. They must also have the social skills to work collaboratively with families and service providers and provide effective training.
