We are hiring an experienced, self-driven, motivated Admissions Coordinato r for our central intake in Baton Rouge, LA

Job Duties :

  • Assisting with the coordination of patient admission and transfer process
  • Complete insurance verification and authorization
  • Communicate with clinical liaisons regarding patient status
  • Assist with Medicaid application process
  • All other duties as assigned by supervisor

    • Requirements :

  • Outpatient hospital experience preferred
  • Candidate should possess previous working experience with insurance companies to include verifications, authorizations and referrals.
  • Excellent customer service skill required to answer incoming calls, meet with patients and family members and referring entities.
  • Minimum of 6 months previous experience in a hospital setting.
