As a Quality Control Manager at Perini Management Services, reporting to Project Manager, you will have the opportunity to:

1. Implement and maintain the approved Contractor Quality Control Plan including responsibility for all required preparatory meetings, initial inspections and follow up inspections.
2. Develop understanding/working knowledge of company quality control program, industry standards, procedures, etc. required to perform assigned work.
3. Manage and review shop drawings and product submittal process.
4. Plan, schedule and run Preparatory Meetings.
5. Perform quality control inspections and witness tests to determine acceptability of work.
6. Schedule and coordinate QA inspectors with Owner's Rep.
7. Assist in maintaining work performance records, inspection records and other related items; assure correctness of all documents.
8. Assist in preparation/implementation of quality control procedures, i.e., inspection instructions, control measuring and test equipment, etc.
9. Participate in internal/external quality control audits.
10. Prepare and submit daily activity and work-force reports.
11. Inspect and inventory material shipments for compliance.
12. Insure progress by proactively addressing Q.C. issues
13. Coordinate and schedule third-party inspectors/inspections.

Requirements:

• Experience as QC/QA on multiple Design-Build Projects
• Four (4) year engineering degree or equivalent, or 5 or more years of construction QC, Supervision, and/or Management Experience
• Temporary relocation to project required.
• Experience with Federal Government Clients preferred.
• NAVFAC/USACE QCM Certification Required
• EM385 certification a plus.
• Experience with RMS software preferred.
• Field experiences inspecting/installing MEP systems preferred.
