Position Title : Biomedical Equipment Technician

Location : New York NY 10037

Contract Duration : 13 Weeks

Shift : 8 : 00 AM 4 : 30 PM

Pay Rate : $1087.50 per week

Overview :

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Biomedical Equipment Technician for an exciting job in New York NY.

Key Responsibilities :

Inspect install maintain and repair biomedical equipment devices and systems.

Perform routine preventive maintenance and calibrations to ensure accurate performance.

Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions promptly to minimize downtime.

Maintain detailed service documentation and equipment maintenance records.

Collaborate with clinical and technical staff to ensure equipment is safe and functional.

Ensure compliance with hospital safety regulatory and infection control standards.

Requirements :

Minimum of 1 year of experience in biomedical equipment maintenance or repair.

High School Diploma or GED required.

Associates Degree in Biomedical Technology Biomedical Engineering Technology or a related field preferred.

Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.

Ability to read and interpret technical manuals schematics and repair documentation.

Familiarity with healthcare safety and regulatory standards.

Preferred Qualifications :

Prior experience working in a hospital or clinical environment.

Professional training or certifications related to biomedical equipment maintenance.
