The Financial Analyst will serve as a finance and accounting business partner to Commercial line of business executive leader and team. Responsible for all aspects of financial and strategic planning support including: reporting, monitoring, and analysis of the division's financial and operational performance; financial evaluation of proposed strategic initiatives, acquisitions, divestitures, line expansion, pricing, product development, etc.; coordination and development of the business line's annual strategic plan and operating budget.
Salary Range: $51,700 - $101,500 per year plus bonus. Actual salary offers within this range may vary based on a number of factors, including the specific responsibilities of the position, the candidate's relevant skills and professional experience, educational qualifications, and geographic location.
Duties and Responsibilities: Reporting, monitoring, and analysis of the Commercial Division's financial and operational performance; analytical support for Commercial Division; coordination and development of the Commercial Division's annual strategic plan and operating budget.
Skills and Qualifications: BA Degree in Accounting or Finance required, MBA preferred; 5 or more years of relevant experience including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and accounting at a corporate-wide or divisional level; strong financial systems experience (e.g. Hyperion, SAP, Axiom, Microsoft Excel) required; significant exposure to commercial banking including a strong understanding of sales and operational processes, competitive analysis, pricing, product development, etc.; strong knowledge of financial valuation techniques; broad based GAAP knowledge; strong, communication, organizational, analytical and decision-making skills required.
