Compensation

The pay for this position is

$21.50 per hour

Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment

A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Highlights

This position is a contract assignment with potential to extend or convert based upon attendance, performance, and business needs

The required availability for this position is

Monday–Friday, 6 : 00 AM – 2 : 30 PM

Responsibilities

Enter new prescriptions and patient demographics into the data processing system

Process prescription exceptions, including resolving claim rejections and member / physician outreach

Assist with inbound and outbound calls from patients and physician offices

Load insurance plans and coordination of benefits for new referrals

Support pharmacists by escalating questions and assisting with processing direction

Participate in audits of test claims and handle reorders and distribution emails

Perform backend pharmacy support such as picking, packing, and manifesting as needed

Maintain accurate documentation, image indexing, and AE report filing

Provide support for specialized pharmacy programs and disease-state specific workflows

Other duties as assigned

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED

Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days

2–4 years of Pharmacy Technician experience

Current

Pharmacy Technician registration and certification

as required by state of operation

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience in prescription processing or pharmacy fulfillment

Experience working in a high-volume pharmacy environment
