Security Officer Hospital Communications

As a Security Officer Hospital Communications in Cumberland, RI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and supporting a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and provide outstanding customer service and communication, all while embodying our values of teamwork, integrity, and a people-first approach.

What You'll Do :

  • Monitor and manage incoming and outgoing communications within the healthcare facility to facilitate prompt response to security-related incidents.
  • Dispatch Allied Universal personnel to various locations within the site as needed, based on calls and reports received.
  • Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific policies and procedures, including assisting staff, visitors, and / or patients with security-related concerns.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with other team members as appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate logs and records of all incidents, communications, and dispatch activities during the shift.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with Allied Universal team members and on-site personnel to help to deter unauthorized activities.
  • Support emergency response activities by coordinating information flow and dispatching resources as directed by site protocols.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • At least two years of security-related experience is required.
  • Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • At least two years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field is required.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
