Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school pertaining to mechanical designer / engineering ; or in the process of obtaining a degree. Ability to present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Demonstrated geometric dimensioning and tolerancing capability. Related CAD training classes

Job Summary : Detailers who will be responsible for detailing various parts / components to assist our automotive, aerospace, military and industrial equipment customers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Application of CAD skills necessary to complete assignment requirements.
- Responsible for the verification of component details necessary to meet customers’ objectives, clearances, manufacturing requirements and functionality.
- Responsible to support department design and drawing reviews.
- Communicate job status to senior designer, engineering and management on a daily basis.
- Assist the design department in other capacities such as in detailing and checking, with guidance.
- Continue to strive to be the best in class. (New CAD methods / training, serviceability, manufacturing process, etc.)
- Responsible to support department Quality System and follow any procedures or work instructions provided for assigned projects.
