Warm & Fuzzy Veterinary Center is a privately owned 4 doctor hospital and we are in need of a 5th full-time DVM. Warm & Fuzzy is hybrid exotics and small animal practice - the only one in Baltimore County and one of a few of its kind in Maryland. We operate with a 100% paperless practice management software, including SmartFlow White Board system.

Our hospital is beautiful, 3 years old and comes equipped with unlimited coffee and lots of toys. Digital X-ray, ultrasound, multi-parameter anesthetic monitors, in- house lab, therapy laser, doppler, electrocautery, digital dental radiographs are just a few of the playthings we have available. We are open Monday through Friday from 8 AM until 7 PM and Saturday 8 AM until 1 PM. Our doctors work 0 Sundays, and 3-4 days out of 7. Saturdays are optional! There are no after-hours emergencies or on call. Our 20-40-minute appointments and dedicated surgery days are geared to allow you to practice quality medicine while encouraging personal growth.

Middle River is located in the heart of Maryland, nearly on the Chesapeake Bay - great for boating and water sports, a few hour drive to the beach and mountains. Baltimore has an amazing restaurant scene with many entertainment venues.

Position Requirements:

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from an AVMA-accredited veterinary school or its equivalent
• Current license to work in Maryland
• Current controlled substance license
• Our ideal candidate has 2-5 years experience. Exotic experience (including but not limited to birds, reptiles, rodents, ferrets) not required but an interest in learning is. We will consider new graduates.
• A team player that caters to client satisfaction and quality of medicine
• Strong medicine skills are a must
• Strong surgical skills are preferred
• Strong dental skills are preferred
