We are currently seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join our team at our school-based clinic located at Mary Todd Elementary in Lexington, KY. This role offers a unique opportunity to support the health and well-being of children and families in an educational setting.

    • Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensure efficient patient flow through the clinic by following established workflows
  • Provide clinical support including :

    • Escorting patients to exam rooms

  • Recording vital signs and measurements
  • Assisting with screenings and exams
  • Administering treatments and medications as directed
  • Counseling on safety, nutrition, and development
  • Accurately document patient encounters in the electronic medical record
  • Maintain exam rooms and supplies
  • Perform laboratory services including phlebotomy and CLIA-waived tests
  • Process referrals and track test results
  • Serve as a communication liaison between provider and patient
  • Provide administrative support including scheduling and inventory management
  • Participate in team huddles and assist with training new Medical Assistants

    • Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)

    • Dayshift
