Bruker's AXS-EM division is looking for a mechanical assembler with strong communication skills to help us build the best electron microscopes in the world. A major part of the responsibilities will include assembling precision mechanical assemblies for electron sources operating at up to 200 kV. Communication skills are highly prized, and will help you succeed in coordinating with team members on various tasks, as are attention to detail, organizational skills, and adherence to established protocols.

Responsibilities

Inspect quality of incoming parts.

• Assemble mechanical and electrical parts and sub-assemblies.
• Occasionally perform light machine shop duties such as operating drills, sanders, and material cutting equipment.
• Maintain good house-keeping and organization of work area.
• Reads and deciphers schematics, blueprints, and assembly instructions.
• Cleans and maintains equipment, including tools.
• Prepares work to be accomplished by studying parts lists and gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
• Verifies specifications by measuring completed component.
• Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
• Documents actions by completing production and quality forms.

Qualifications

At Bruker, base salary is part of our total compensation. The estimated base salary range for this full-time position is between $54,020 and $92,000 and provides an opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base salary for the role will depend on a several job-related factors, including, but not limited to education, training, experience, the geographic location of the successful candidate, skills, competencies, job-related knowledge and travel requirements for this position.
