A growing Managed Service Provider (MSP) is seeking a skilled and customer-focused Help Desk Engineer to join its technical support team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is passionate about delivering excellent service to small and mid-sized business clients.
What You’ll Do :
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Windows and Mac OS systems and hardware.
- Monitor network and server performance to ensure uptime and reliability.
- Administer backup software and support data recovery efforts.
- Manage and maintain Microsoft Active Directory, DNS, file servers, printer servers, RDS, and SQL environments.
- Support email systems including Exchange and Office 365.
- Troubleshoot and administer email, calendar, spam filters, and DNS settings.
- Assist with virtual server environments (Hyper-V, VMware).
- Conduct facility tours for potential members, highlighting key features, amenities, and program offerings.
What You Bring :
Strong communication skills-able to ask the right questions, listen actively, and explain technical concepts clearly.A natural problem-solver with empathy and a customer-first mindset.Experience with email systems, website administration, and DNS management.Bonus Skills (Nice to Have) :
Familiarity with virtual desktop technologies (VMware, Citrix).Experience with firewall and switch administration.Basic programming knowledge.VOIP and telephony support.Exposure to tools like Atera and Datto Siris / NAS.Education & Certifications :
Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent hands-on experience.Microsoft and / or Apple certifications are a plus.Benefits :
