Blast Booth Operator - 2nd Shift

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Positions and turns material to completely blast all required surfaces.
• Adjusts mixture of air and abrasive to suit requirements.
• Services sand or grit tanks, replaces worn nozzles.
• Moves material in and out of blast booth using hand truck, tow-motor and / or overhead crane.     Monitors humidity and temperature and compare to customer specification requirements.
• DESIRABLE KNOWLEDGE / EDUCATION    High school diploma or GED required.
• DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE Experience working in a blast booth is preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints preferred.
• Ability to safely operate a forklift.
