Description

• Conduct patient evaluations in either outpatient or inpatient settings and create tailored treatment strategies
• Implement physical therapy interventions aimed at enhancing mobility, strength, balance, and functional abilities
• Work collaboratively with nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation specialists to maximize patient outcomes
• Guide patients and their families regarding therapeutic objectives, discharge planning, and prescribed exercises for home
• Maintain detailed documentation of evaluations, treatments, and progress according to facility and legal standards
• Engage in interdisciplinary team rounds and conferences to ensure seamless and coordinated care

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or a related accredited degree

Certifications

• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist
• CPR certification preferred
• Additional specialized certifications (e.g., neurological, geriatric) are advantageous, though not mandatory
