[job_card.job_description]Assist the VP of Purchasing and Plant Manager with the development / execution of the corporate purchasing plan Actively conduct bidding and assist in negotiations to achieve the best possible price, cost reductions and avoidances as well as service guarantees Negotiate, write, and administer contracts for commodities and parts about the business Develops new supply sources where vendors are inadequate Examine bids and makes recommendations Negotiates blanket purchase orders when appropriate and monitors cost during the time period Follows environmental and safety regulations and acts in compliance with US laws. And ensure compliance to safety and corporate guidelines on business ethics Coach and mentor Buyers Assist team with day-to-day troubleshooting Team performance management e.g. setting up KPIs, monitoring performance, conduct performance reviews and evaluation etc. Serve as the first point of escalation within the Purchasing department Manage an assigned set of commodities Bachelor's Degree, in Supply Chain or Business Administration or relevant work experience Minimum 10 years of purchasing experience or a combination of education and experience Minimum 5 years in a manufacturing environment Minimum 5 years within the automotive industry Strong leadership capability Adept in the use of ERP / MRP systems and employing Lean / Continuous Improvement methods Proven analytical and negotiating skills Proficiency with MS Office : Word, Excel, PowerPoint Organizational skills for efficient office control are mandatory Ability to communicate professionally with people at all levels of the organization Ability to make sound and timely decisions International development platform Dynamic and efficient team All-round career development opportunities Personalized humanistic care Diversified working atmosphere Modern office setting Competitive compensation package

Position Overview :
Our team is expanding and looking for a Senior Purchasing Manager for our Minth North America region to be based in Wixom, MI United States.
We are looking for a dynamic and driven candidate who is interested in joining a fast-growing global company in the automotive sector.
Responsibilities：
- The Purchasing Manager will manage the organization's purchasing function. Ensures policies, procedures, and strategies related to the procurement and sourcing of goods and services are followed. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Works with cross-functional teams including Program Management, Engineering, Finance, Manufacturing, and supply chain.
- Responsibilities also include ensuring purchasing requirements and metrics are met at all program milestones and the development and communication of program sourcing strategy.
- Purchasing and negotiating materials, equipment, and supplies from a global supply base and evaluating supplier quotes and services to determine the most desirable suppliers utilizing knowledge of various articles of commerce and experience.
