Senior Backend Infrastructure Engineer | AI Builder Tools | San Francisco (Hybrid or Onsite)

One of the most technically ambitious YC startups Im partnered with is hiring a Senior Backend Infrastructure Engineer to help productionize and scale their AI-driven builder tools.

This isnt a traditional DevOps or SRE position - its a backend engineering role with deep AWS experience, ideal for someone who loves building, deploying, and scaling systems from the ground up.

Youll work directly with the founding team (ex-deep learning, infra, and LLM veterans) to take internal AI builder tools from prototype to production - ensuring theyre robust, secure, and infinitely scalable.

What Youll Be Doing :

• Take internal Node.js / TypeScript systems and deploy them to production on AWS
• Build and manage the infrastructure that powers scalable AI products
• Productionize backend systems for performance, reliability, and observability
• Implement containerization (Docker, ECS) and contribute to architecture decisions
• Work closely with engineers to expose APIs and backend data for front-end integration
