Fitness Instructor

Description

The Fitness Instructor will lead both group fitness classes and personal training sessions for Members. Fitness Instructors must be able to demonstrate and observe technique and form and offer corrective measures to improve their abilities. Fitness Instructors must also use their knowledge of exercise science and nutrition to counsel Members on a one-on-one basis and curate individualized fitness plans that are tailored to each person’s physical ability and goal setting as well as answer their questions about the fitness center equipment, products, and programming offered as well as general health and wellness related questions.

• Ability to maintain personal wellness by making lifelong healthy choices and continuing to learn to meet one’s physical, nutritional, and emotional needs.
• Ability to assess a situation and make well-informed decisions independently.
• Ability to modify exercises for the different fitness levels of all clients.
• Prolonged periods of standing and providing massages.
• Good verbal and organizational skills.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.

Their own insurance

Able to teach evening classes
