Product Manager Beef Value Added

Purpose and Scope / General Summary : The Product Manager plays a pivotal dual role in driving product strategy and enhancing business operations within the Value-Added Beef team. This position supports strategic decision-making across pricing, product development, and operational planning. By analyzing market trends, meat yields, and customer expectations, the product manager helps optimize value-added beef products for profitability and performance. Working closely with sales, marketing, and operations teams, the product manager ensures alignment with financial goals and product targets. Through cross-functional collaboration, they deliver actionable insights that fuel innovation and product success.

Responsibilities :

• Product Development
• Complete NPRs (New Product Requests); submit NPRs and track through the system.
• Work with product / category management to prioritize appropriately to maximize margin and customer service.
• Routinely conduct SKU rationalization analysis.
• Manage Sample Requests for all Beef Value Added plants.
• Maintain Active Code List on applicable forms (NPRs, Sample Requests, etc.).
