About The Unit

The CardioThoracic Intensive Care Unit (CTICU) is a 20-bed intensive care unit where we care for many complex medical problems including open-heart surgery, aneurysm repair, and heart and lung transplant. We have PT / OT 7 days a week, 2 Respiratory Therapists on the unit at all times, APP team coverage until 2300 and an attending MD for 24 / 7 coverage.
