Capitol Lakes is currently looking for an Activities Assistant (Part-Time/On-Call) to join our team. This position will assist the Activities Coordinator implement therapeutic activity and life enrichment programs in the facility. You will support volunteers and lead holistically designed activity programs that support person centered care philosophy and a high level of care.

About You:

• Experience in a senior living facility, recreation therapy, or a related field is preferred.
• Current and valid CPR/AED and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Working knowledge in gerontology, dementia, physiology and anatomy, and/or recreation therapy.
• Communication skills, interpersonal skills, customer service skills, team building skills, and/or leadership skills.
• Computer skills, including experience with electronic medical records systems.
