Job Title : Optical Manufacturing Operations Manager

Location : 930 Marina Way South, Richmond, CA 94804

💼 Employment Type : Full-Time

💰 Competitive salary+ up to 15% annual bonus + full benefits

🕒 Schedule : 24-hour operation (5 days / week)

✈️ Travel : Up to 25%

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a 110+ employee optical manufacturing team
• Drive productivity, quality, turnaround time (TAT), and first-pass yield
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, FDA, ANSI, ISO, HIPAA, and safety regulations
• Oversee budgeting, financial planning, and cost control
• Manage inventory, equipment maintenance, and asset planning
• Develop and implement safety programs and inspection processes
• Improve operational efficiency through data analysis and process improvements
• Investigate and resolve production or member service issues
• Lead training programs and staff development initiatives
• Foster a collaborative, high-performance work environment (union / Labor Management Partnership experience preferred)

Minimum Qualifications

AND 8+ years of optical lab or related manufacturing experience

OR 11+ years of relevant experience
