Data Engineer - Python / SQL

Python / SQL Developer Overview We are seeking an experienced Python / SQL Developer to support backend engineering work across a variety of internal applications and data driven systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining backend services, developing integrations, and supporting enhancements to existing tools and workflows. This role combines hands on development, problem solving, and collaboration with cross functional engineering teams. The Python and SQL Developers will work closely with technical leads to support ongoing initiatives, ensure reliable data movement, and contribute to high quality backend solutions that enable broader engineering and operational needs. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain backend services using Python. Write, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL queries and data workflows. Build and support integrations across internal systems and APIs. Assist with ongoing platform enhancement, modernization, and migration efforts. Collaborate with engineering leads on design, debugging, and performance improvements. Participate in code reviews and follow established development standards. Required Experience Strong hands on Python development experience. Proficiency in SQL and working with relational databases. Background in backend services, APIs, or data pipelines. Familiarity with CI / CD concepts and modern development practices. Ability to work collaboratively across engineering teams.
