About the Role

The Company is seeking a Founding Dean for its new School of Health and Behavioral Sciences, which is being established to meet the increasing demand for a skilled workforce in healthcare, mental health, and related fields. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a strategic vision for the school, which will include expanding into areas of study such as public health, healthcare management, health education and promotion, health informatics, nutrition, and occupational therapy. The role demands an innovative and entrepreneurial leader with a strong background in adult education, online learning, and a deep commitment to excellence in teaching and learning. The Founding Dean will also oversee the integration of the school's programs with the company's existing offerings in behavioral health and wellness.

Applicants for the Founding Dean position must hold a doctoral degree in a health science, behavioral science, or a related field, and have a minimum of 5 years' experience in health and / or behavioral sciences education, with at least 3 years in a leadership or administrative role. The ideal candidate will be an effective relationship builder, with a proven track record in leading academic programs and a clear vision for the future of the school. The role is fully remote, and the company is dedicated to providing adult learners with the knowledge, skills, and practical strategies to enhance client and patient care. The Founding Dean will play a pivotal role in shaping the school's identity and ensuring its programs are tailored for workplace relevance, with a focus on the success and satisfaction of its students.
