Superintendent

My client is one of the most reputable and well-established GC / Developers in the Chicagoland area, specializing in high-quality tenant interiors projects. With a strong backlog and continued growth, they are seeking a Construction Superintendent to join their team and oversee daily field operations across multiple interior build-out projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day field operations, including supervision of subcontractors, trades, and on-site personnel
• Develop, maintain, and execute project schedules; coordinate material deliveries, inspections, and phased work activities
• Ensure all work adheres to project specifications, plans, and applicable building codes
• Act as the central communication point between project managers, subcontractors, inspectors, and clients
• Maintain daily reports, track progress, address delays or issues, and support project managers with cost control
• Identify potential risks or conflicts and implement resolutions to protect schedule, quality, and budget
• Enforce OSHA and company safety standards; lead regular safety meetings and perform routine jobsite inspections
