Physician, Orthopedic Surgeon (Hand)

WakeMed Physician Practices is a multi-specialty group with over 450 physicians in a variety of specialty areas. Established, hospital owned orthopaedic group is adding a fourth full-time BC/BE orthopaedic Hand physician to manage a full range of upper extremity injuries at our offices in Raleigh, NC. Candidates must have completed an accredited orthopaedic surgery residency program in addition to a hand surgery fellowship and be board certified/eligible. Level 1 orthopaedic call is supported by orthopaedic surgery residents and physician assistants and is 1:10 with even distribution of weekends and holidays. You’ll have the opportunity to practice full scope of hand surgery, including a busy elective and trauma practice. There is ASC ownership opportunity and access to excellent referral sources.
This growing practice currently includes 24 physicians, 35 APPs, dedicated hand therapists, an experienced staff, and eight office locations in greater Raleigh. Primary coverage at WakeMed Raleigh Hospital with access to two ambulatory surgery centers.
