Payment Posting Specialist

A company is looking for a Payment Posting Specialist responsible for accurately posting payments, adjustments, and denials to patient accounts.

Key Responsibilities

Accurately post payments, adjustments, and denials from EOBs and ERAs to patient accounts

Identify and retrieve remittance information from various payer portals to ensure timely posting

Proactively resolve ERA gaps and correct claims or posting errors to maintain clean accounts receivable

Required Qualifications

Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in medical billing, payment posting, or a similar RCM role

Proven experience navigating and extracting remittance data from major payer portals

Demonstrated experience with credit balance resolution and refund processing

Proficiency with medical billing software and Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems

Expert-level understanding of EOBs, ERAs, CPT, ICD-10, and standard adjustment / denial codes
