Full-Time Dental Front Office / Assistant in Chicago, IL

Location : Chicago, IL (Loop Area)

Schedule : Monday–Thursday, 8 : 30 AM–4 : 30 PM (No evenings, Fridays, or weekends)

Pay : $20–$25 / hour (DOE)

Position Overview

This position is primarily front desk with some backup assisting duties. You’ll handle patient communication, scheduling, and insurance processing, and occasionally assist with sterilization and taking x-rays using Dexis.

Responsibilities

  • Answer multi-line phones and schedule appointments
  • Verify insurance benefits and process claims / payments
  • Greet and check out patients; collect payments
  • Manage emails, recalls, and treatment plans in Dentrix
  • Fill schedule openings and confirm appointments
  • Assist with sterilization and x-rays as needed

    • Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of dental front desk experience
  • Proficient in Dentrix and Dexis
  • Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
  • Reliable, honest, and professional
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
