Cottonwood Residential is looking to hire a Maintenance Technician at Cottonwood Bayview Apartments in St. Petersburg, FL. Apply today!

Compensation & Benefits of a Maintenance Technician

  • Competitive pay!

Technician I : $20-23 / hr

  • Technician II : $23-25 / hr

    • Qualifications & Required Experience of a Property Maintenance Technician

  • Ability to read, write, and speak English to communicate with customers, process Company paperwork, and interpret safety and operating manuals and procedures.
  • Must be able to move, carry, reposition, or lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to climb stairs, ladders, scaffolds, and ability to navigate elevation changes while maintaining balance.
  • Frequent need to sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend, push / pull, and ability to navigate difficult terrain and access small areas.
  • Ability to work standard community hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Ability to work as an on-call technician and provide after-hours emergency service with the support of the Service Manager while following Company standards.
  • Perform repairs that may include, but are not limited to, plumbing, electrical work, and general carpentry work related to household, building, and property grounds repairs.
  • EPA certification Type II or Universal is a plus.
  • CPO certification is a plus.
  • Considerable experience troubleshooting HVAC.
  • Valid Driver's License is required.
