School Psychologist (Contract)
Compensation: $50–$70 per hour, based on experience
Job Type: Full-time, contract; 37.5 hours per week
Schedule: Preferred: 100% on-site, face-to-face, Alternative: Hybrid (3 days on-site / 2 days remote)
Location: Columbia, South Carolina
We are seeking a qualified School Psychologist to support students across K–12 grade levels for the 2025–2026 school year. This full-time, contract role involves working closely with educators, administrators, and families to support students’ academic, behavioral, social, and emotional success within a collaborative school-based environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and assessments
- Participate in eligibility determination meetings and IEP development
- Provide consultation and guidance to teachers, administrators, and families
- Support academic, behavioral, social, and emotional intervention planning
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve student outcomes
- Maintain accurate, compliant documentation and reporting in accordance with state and federal guidelines
- Serve students across K–12 grade levels
Qualifications
- Certified or eligible for professional certification as a School Psychologist in South Carolina
- Experience working with K–12 students preferred
- Strong assessment, communication, and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a school-based team
