Plasmidsaurus is on a mission to accelerate new cures and promote a healthier planet by unlocking a new level of productivity for scientists who use DNA tools to bring their ideas to life. Our DNA sequencing tools are used daily by thousands of innovators, including Nobel prize winners, dynamic biotech startups, research labs, and DIY biohackers. Our global network of labs operates day and night to enable world-changing discoveries. In 2024, we saved these scientists 2 million hours of time, radically accelerating their research. The Sales Account Executive will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and expanding our market share in the sequencing industry. This position requires a deep understanding of sequencing technologies, exceptional sales skills, and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key clients. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

We're looking for someone:

• With 5+ years of relevant sequencing experience
• With a proven track record of success in account management, exceeding targets and driving revenue growth.
• Who has familiarity with most common sequencing, synthetic biology, cell and gene therapies, and molecular biology lab techniques.
• Who has experience selling to academic, biotech, and government accounts.
• Who can identify and pursue new business opportunities, generate leads, and convert them into successful sales through a consultative approach.
• Who has a demonstrated history of devising and implementing successful strategies utilizing a consultative approach in customer interactions, resulting in measurable and impactful outcomes.
• Who has negotiation skills, both in written and oral communication, coupled with presentation abilities. Proven track record of collaborating seamlessly with key stakeholders across internal and external organizations.
• Proficient in maintaining and organizing opportunity pipelines, tasks, and events using CRM tools such as Hubspot, Salesforce or similar platforms.
• Who has excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal teams.
• Who has a strong track record of both finding and closing new opportunities and being able to maintain current customer relationships.
• Who is self-motivated with a strong drive for results.
• Who has Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Biology, Biotechnology, Life Sciences).

Working Conditions/ Schedule:

• Requires the ability and willingness to travel within the assigned territory for customer meetings, internal business gatherings, seminars, and conferences. Additionally, occasional travel outside of the assigned territory may be expected.
