Leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and maintain morale. Medical device industry experience and presentation / public speaking skills are a plus (can be developed internally). About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Supervisor, QC (Mechanical Inspections) to lead a growing Quality Control inspection team. This position is central to ensuring the highest standards of mechanical inspection and quality assurance. Youll act as the face of the department from an IQC perspective, support both current operations and R&D initiatives, and guide the professional development of your team.
What Youll Do
- Lead and mentor a team of 5 inspectors, fostering growth, collaboration, and morale.
- Oversee mechanical inspections, ensuring strong application of GD&T, blueprint reading, and inspection methods.
- Support QC lab functions and provide input on new R&D drawings.
- Represent IQC in cross-functional meetings, delivering insights on quality metrics, backlogs, and process improvements.
- Train and support inspectors in technical and professional skills.
