Quality Assurance (QA) Inspector - 1st Shift | Crystal Lake, IL
Our client located in Crystal Lake, IL is looking for a Quality Assurance (QA) Inspector for their 1st shift.
In this position, you will be responsible for inspecting electronic assemblies, components, and finished products to ensure compliance with customer specifications, IPC standards, and company quality requirements.
Pay :
Hours : Monday - Friday | 7 : 00 AM - 3 : 30 PM
QA Inspector Responsibilities :
- Perform visual and dimensional inspections of PCB assemblies, subassemblies, and wiring per IPC-A-610 and / or J-STD-001 standards
- Verify soldering quality, component placement, polarity, and workmanship
- Conduct first article inspections (FAI) and verify setup for production runs
- Generate nonconformance reports (NCRs) and assist in dispositioning defective materials
- Support internal, customer, and ISO quality audits
- Ensure inspection tools and measuring equipment are properly calibrated and maintained
- Adhere to ISO 9001 : 2015 standards and other applicable quality system requirements
