D30B- Structural Concrete Estimator

Job Description

Our client, a leading and well-established company built on a solid reputation of quality workmanship and customer service is seeking a Concrete Estimator to their growing company. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of self-perform structural concrete estimating experience for commercial, healthcare, residential, and industrial projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Reviews plans and specifications for jobs
• Does detailed takeoffs on materials, labor, and equipment
• Solicits vendor quotes for materials
• Sends RFI's to the owner or general contractor during the bid process for clarifications
• Identifies potential issues and take proactive steps to circumvent obstacles
• Identify and prioritize value engineering opportunities
