Avenue Five Institute is an award-winning Beauty and Wellness school with two campuses in Austin, TX. We are currently seeking exceptional Barbering, Cosmetology, Esthetics, and Nails Instructors to support our growing population of talented students.

The ideal candidate must have exceptional customer service, verbal communication and organizational skills, experience in use of computer technology, along with an inherent passion to educate and enrich the lives of others. Possible full-time and / or part-time positions with day and evening shifts.

The professionals we seek should have at least 2 years of continuous experience in a barbershop, salon, spa, medspa, or similar environment. 5+ years experience is strongly encouraged.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :

• Current Barber, Cosmetology, Esthetics, or Nails / Manicurist License in the State of Texas
• 2 years continuous experience in a barbershop, salon, spa, medspa, or similar environment (5+ recommended)

ESTHETICS PROGRAM (6 Months) : Avenue Five Institutes esthetics curriculum embraces a clinical, results-oriented approach to skincare. BARBERING (8 Months) :

Our comprehensive barbering program is grounded in the Milady Barbering curriculum, emphasizing classic and modern cutting techniques, men's grooming, and shaving fundamentals. Students gain real-world experience on our bustling student barber floor, where hands-on training with real clients takes place under the supervision of licensed barbers and educators. Avenue Five Institutes Nail Technology program offers students a comprehensive training, which allows you to transform your passion for nail care into a successful educator career. Through hands-on practice and expert instruction, students learn the art of manicures, pedicures, and advanced nail techniques such as gel and acrylic application. Our curriculum emphasizes creative design and meticulous attention to nail health, students are well-prepared to provide high-quality services that will delight clients. Focusing on current trends, industry standards, and client care, our program equips students with the skills and confidence needed to thrive as a professional nail technician.
