Location : Charleston, SC (Serving the Tri-County Area)
Job Type : Contract
Shifts Available : Friday, Saturday, Sunday + 1 Weekday | 4x10s or 3x8s plus 8 (40-hour workweek, dependent on patient appointment schedule)
Pay Rate : $2302 gross per week (includes $1246 travel stipend if applicable)

Our client is seeking an experienced RN to provide exceptional hospice care in a home and inpatient setting. Your dedication will ensure comfort, dignity, and quality of life for individuals facing terminal illnesses.
Job Description :
The RN will provide comprehensive hospice care to patients with terminal illnesses in their homes or inpatient hospice settings. Responsibilities include assessing patient needs, administering medications, managing symptoms, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team (IDG) to implement the plan of care. The nurse will provide direct hands-on care, ensure continuity of treatment, and support families through education and emotional care.
Duties and Responsibilities :
Provide nursing services per plan of care and hospice standards
Coordinate with physicians and IDG team
Educate and support patients and caregivers
Administer medications and manage symptoms
Maintain accurate clinical documentation
Participate in quality improvement activities
Supervise care provided by LPNs and Hospice Aides
Participate in on-call duties as needed
Travel to patient homes within assigned zip codes
Job Requirements :
Current Registered Nurse license in South Carolina or valid compact / multi-state license
Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in acute care, home care, or hospice inpatient unit
CPR certification (AHA or American Red Cross)
Graduate of an accredited nursing school
Valid SC driver’s license with clean driving record
Must have own transportation for home visits
Strong assessment, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to work independently in the field
Must be comfortable with physically demanding tasks (frequent lifting, crouching, etc.) and exposure to varying patient environments
