In a Nutshell
The Wealth Advisor will report to Retirement Plan Practice Leader and play a critical role in helping 401(k) participants and individual clients achieve their financial goals. This is a client-facing, growth-oriented position designed for someone who thrives in prospecting, financial planning, and relationship management.
What You Will Be Doing
- Conduct 401(k) group meetings and provide individual consultations to participants.
- Work directly with referral partners to prospect new clients, build relationships, and grow AUM (assets under management).
- Generate new business opportunities through prospecting and other lead generation activities.
- Lead client meetings to provide holistic financial guidance including asset management, financial planning, and estate planning.
- Monitor client portfolios, perform periodic reviews, and implement changes based on client goals, market conditions, or life events.
- Coordinate with internal teams (compliance, operations, benefits, insurance) to deliver seamless client service and support
- Deliver high-quality service and develop trusted, long-term client relationships.
- Leverage financial planning software, risk analysis tools, and Microsoft products to support clients.
- Work toward leadership responsibilities as the role grows.
Qualifications
Series 65, or CFP required5+ years of financial services experience.Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust quickly.Familiarity with financial planning software and risk analysis tools.Bachelor's degree in business or another related field preferred.Key Skillset
Fee-based wealth management experience.Experience working with high-net worth clients.Familiarity with financial planning and investment software (eMoney, Right Capital etc.)Effective written communication and presentation skills with the ability to communicate with both individuals and groups.Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with clients, prospective clients and internal contacts.Problem solving, negotiation and persuasive skillsDemonstrated knowledge of and facilitation of sales process.What's in It for You
