Job Summary : This position transports children to service providers, medical and dental appointments, school, family visits, placements, and other support services in addition to covering 72-hour visitations, hospital ER visits, placements and DJJ discharges.
Essential Functions :

- Plan efficient transportation routes to arrive at destinations on time.
- Keep the Transportation Coordinator informed of potential delays to transportation.
- Maintain logs of arrival and departure times for destinations.
- Care for children while they await placement or transportation. Provide for their safety, provide food if necessary, and see to their comfort.
- Update information system with transportation data including children resource trip records.
- Maintain vehicles in accordance with ChildNet's Fleet Safety Program and maintenance standards.
- Operate vehicles safely observing all rules of the road to ensure the safety and well-being of individuals in the vehicle.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Years of Experience :
One (1) year of Social Services experienceEducation / Licenses / Certifications :
High School Diploma or GED requiredAssociate's degree in business preferredAbilities Required :
Ability to make complex decisions and balance the needs of stakeholders involvedKnowledge of Microsoft suite programs.Competencies :
