Position Overview

We're seeking a talented and motivated Full Stack Developer to join our engineering team. This is a longer-term co?op position (4?6 months) where you'll work on production features for our PathIvy platform, contributing to both frontend and backend systems that directly impact thousands of students' college journeys.

What You'll Do

  • Build and maintain React?based frontend components for student dashboards, profile management, and activity tracking systems
  • Develop backend APIs using Node.js to support features like task management, AI?powered recommendations, and real?time notifications
  • Collaborate with our AI integration team to implement features using OpenAI / Claude APIs
  • Use agentic coding tools (Claude Code, Cline) to accelerate development and improve code quality
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical documentation

Technical Requirements

Must Have :

  • Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science or related field, recently completed or expected by 2025.
  • Experience with React and modern frontend development
  • Experience with Node.js and RESTful API design
  • Familiarity with Git version control
  • Experience with agentic coding tools (Claude Code, Cline)
  • Experience with SQL or NoSQL and databases

    • Nice to Have :

  • Experience with Vercel deployment platform
  • Exposure to AI / LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic)
  • Previous internship or project experience with full?stack applications
  • Familiarity with real?time communication systems (WebSockets, chat applications)
  • Experience with calendar integrations (Google Calendar, Outlook)
