Position : Mainframe Developer

Location : Dallas, TX - HYBRID

Duration : 6 Months

JOB Description :

Required Skills & Qualifications :

  • Proven experience as a Mainframe Developer, with expertise in COBOL , JCL , DB2 , and CICS .
  • Solid understanding of mainframe architecture and development processes.
  • Experience with database management and working with legacy systems.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with different teams.
  • Experience working as a subcontractor or in a contract-based role is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
  • Experience with other mainframe technologies (e.g., IMS, VSAM, MQ, etc.).
  • Knowledge of modern programming languages or frameworks for integration with mainframe systems.
