Job Summary

Truestar Transit, a growing logistics company, is seeking a dependable Janitor to maintain cleanliness and organization in both our administrative office areas and our cold-storage warehouse. This position supports the overall appearance, safety, and functionality of our facility and requires someone comfortable working in varied environmentsfrom standard office settings to refrigerated warehouse areas. The ideal candidate has a great work ethic, experience with cleaning equipment and supplies, and takes pride in a job well done.

Responsibilities

Office & Administrative Areas :

• Clean and sanitize offices, meeting rooms, restrooms, and break areas.
• Dust and wipe down desks, counters, and common surfaces.
• Vacuum and mop floors; maintain clean entrances and hallways.
• Clean restrooms and restock supply areas as needed.

Cold-Storage Warehouse Areas :

• Sweep, mop, and remove debris throughout warehouse spaces.
• Clean equipment surfaces, workstations, and high-touch areas.
• Empty trash and recycling bins throughout the facility.

General Duties :

• Assist with light maintenance tasks as directed.
• Follow all company safety procedures and cleaning protocols
• Additional responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

• Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 lbs. regularly.
• Comfortable working in cold-storage environments (temperatures may range from 040F).
• Ability to work in both office and warehouse settings.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work independently.
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.

Qualifications

• Educational requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent
• At least 2 years of experience in janitorial services
• Drivers license or reliable transportation to and from the worksite
• Must be a hard worker with high attention to detail and have a strong work ethic
