Overview

Mid-Market Account Executive, Industries at Anthropic. Drive adoption of safe, frontier AI by securing strategic deals with mid-market companies in key verticals. Leverage consultative sales expertise and technical acumen to propel revenue growth while partnering with customers to embed and deploy AI and unlock its full capabilities.

You will contribute to the GTM strategy for the Industries team, focusing on sector-specific solutions and scalable sales plays. The team is piloting a new approach where human account executives direct AI Agents to automate key elements of the buyer’s journey while maintaining human engagement where needed. You should be passionate about building a new sales motion, experimenting with programs and workflows, and evangelizing the potential of Transformative AI to mid-market companies across verticals.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the Mid-Market GTM strategy, identify new use cases within assigned verticals, win new business, and share feedback with cross-functional teams
  • Drive strategic expansion within key accounts and pursue new logo acquisition in emerging verticals
  • Own revenue targets and all aspects of the sales cycle from prospecting to close, including identifying workflows to automate and agentify
  • Become a trusted advisor to customers, understand their needs, craft tailored AI solutions, co-innovate with customers, and align to the product roadmap
  • Collaborate with Product, Customer Success, Legal, Marketing, and Applied AI to bring new solutions to market and shape roadmaps
  • Develop sales collateral, proposals, and presentations to effectively position Anthropic's AI products; refine sales tactics and share best practices

You may be a good fit if you have

  • 3+ years of enterprise B2B sales experience in technology, preferably SaaS, API solutions, or emerging technologies
  • Experience automating workflows or building automations for repeatable sales processes
  • Proven track record of exceeding revenue targets in fast-paced settings with active pipeline management
  • Excellent communication skills; ability to present and build connections from ICs to C-level
  • Ability to bring order to chaos with a team-player mindset
  • Strategic, analytical market assessment skills with creative, tactical execution
  • Passion for and / or experience with advanced AI systems and a belief in developing safe frontier AI
  • Salary range : $280,000 - $350,000 USD

    Logistics

    Education requirements : Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.

    Location policy : Hybrid policy – staff should be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time; some roles may require more office time.

    Visa sponsorship : We sponsor visas where possible and will make reasonable efforts to assist with visa processes if an offer is made.
