Assistant Professor / Otolaryngology / Laryngology-Voice Disorders

The Department of Otolaryngology-HNS is looking for an Academic Comprehensive Otolaryngology-HNS faculty position to join a growing and dynamic academic program at the Joe R. & Teresa Lozano Long School of Medicine at UT Health San Antonio. This position will allow for the full spectrum practice of comprehensive Laryngology as a member of the UT Health San Antonio Voice Center. Completion of formal fellowship training in Laryngology preferred with training and experience in voice / swallow disorders, airway management, and airway reconstruction.

The faculty member would function as part of a comprehensive academic Otolaryngology-HNS department with opportunities to impact resident and medical student education. The residency program is fully accredited for residents. The practice is part of the UT Health Physicians Faculty Practice Plan. There are opportunities for collaborative research across the school of medicine.

Front-loaded Paid Time Off : to hours ( to days) of Paid Time Off based on years of service, given at the start of each fiscal year. PTO may be prorated in year one based on date of hire.

Extended Illness Bank : hours ( day) accrued per month which can be used for illness or injury after one day of Paid Time Off is taken.

Paid Family Leave : Up to hours ( weeks) to care for a spouse, child, or parent after months of consecutive employment.
