Settlements Analyst

What The Role Is

Reporting to the Director Conventional Accounting the Settlements Analyst is responsible for managing the revenue billing and accounts receivable process for large utility-scale solar and wind plants understanding contractual stipulations associated with price and quantity (as these inputs drive settlement activity) and managing documents and ensuring regulatory compliance with Sarbanes Oxley requirements. This position is also responsible for managing shadow settlements for various ISOs (independent system operators). This role collaborates internally with the Accounting team Asset Management team and Energy Risk Management team and externally with customers and other third parties.

What Youll Be Doing

• Energy settlements experience with complex structured transactions and RTO / ISO Settlements and a fundamental understanding of energy trading risk management (ETRM) systems. Responsible for managing the dispute process with the ISO and qualified scheduling entities (QSE).
• Responsible for the management of all assigned ISO processes including data management reporting and timely analysis.
• Support the Accounting team with various tasks including recording settlement activity as part of accounting close managing regulatory filings and audit requests and performing trend analyses.
• Responsible for all revenue billing and cash applications for all large utility-scale solar and wind projects.
• Provide reports analyses trend analyses or other ad hoc reports as required by both internal and external parties to support legal regulatory and commercial requirements.
• Responsible for maintaining all documentation related to settlement processes in support of internal and external audits and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.
• Engage in special projects or requests as needed.

The pay rate for the successful candidate will depend on geographic location skills relevant and demonstrated experience education training and certifications and other factors permitted by law. This role is eligible to earn an annual cash bonus subject to personal and company performance goals.
