If you are aiming to grow your career within building restoration design engineering, then our Structural Engineer opportunity will provide you with a fulfilling position, having you provide valuable design insight on our building restoration projects.

This position is based in our Hollywood, FL office.

Responsibilities

As our Structural Engineer, you will also:

• Collaborate with teams of engineers, designers, and drafters to complete project deliverables.
• Coordinate design work with other engineering disciplines.
• Meet client expectations for budget and schedule while delivering a quality product.
• Increase proficiency in relevant design, modeling, and analysis software applications such as RAM Structural System, RAM Elements, RAM Concept, STADD, Enercalc, SteelSmart, Simpson CFS Designer, RISA, and Revit.
• Increase your knowledge of local codes and industry standards.
• Assist with budget estimates and write-ups for proposals.

Qualifications

If you possess the following experience & qualifications, we encourage you to apply:

• . Degree in Civil, Structural Engineering. . in Civil or Structural Engineering is preferred.
• Professional Engineer license in the state of Florida or ability to obtain one within 6-months of hire date.
• 5+ years of relevant structural design engineering experience (Concrete, Steel, Masonry, Wood). If you are a recent graduate, internship experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of building codes and standards and construction practices is required.
• Strong time management and communication skills, verbal and written.
