Overview
We’re seeking an Infrastructure Administrator to support a 60–75 user satellite office while working closely with centralized IT infrastructure and security teams. This role requires a steady, hands-on operator with strong enterprise networking fundamentals—someone who can maintain local network stability while adhering to corporate standards, security controls, and formal change management processes.


Responsibilities
Network & Connectivity Support

• Support and maintain local LAN/WLAN infrastructure, including Cisco switches and enterprise wireless access points
• Perform switch port configuration, VLAN assignments, and basic routing support
• Troubleshoot network connectivity, latency, and performance issues
• Coordinate with centralized teams on WAN, firewall, and segmentation changes

Security & Compliance

• Support firewall connectivity and security policy implementation in coordination with centralized security teams
• Assist with audit preparation and remediation activities (SOX/security controls)
• Follow formal change management and documentation standards

Infrastructure & End-User Support

• Provide senior-level escalation support for network and infrastructure incidents
• Support on-site hardware, VoIP phones, printers, and peripherals
• Coordinate ISP issues, circuit troubleshooting, and vendor escalations
• Serve as smart hands for centralized infrastructure and security teams

Collaboration & Documentation

• Maintain accurate network diagrams and site documentation
• Partner with system administrators, security engineers, and vendors
• Participate in infrastructure refreshes and site-level improvement initiatives

Qualifications

• 5+ years in enterprise IT infrastructure or network administration
• Strong hands-on experience with:
  • Cisco switches and routers
  • Enterprise Wi-Fi (controller-based preferred)
  • VLANs, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP
• Experience supporting multi-site or satellite office environments
• Familiarity with firewall concepts (Palo Alto exposure a plus)
• Experience in regulated or compliance-driven environments
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
• Exposure to VMware environments
• Basic Azure networking awareness
• ITIL and/or formal change-management experience preferred
