SAP BI Systems Analyst

Description : Apply advanced knowledge of computer science theories and principles, as well as experience implementing Business Intelligence (BI) solutions, to perform the following duties using standard occupational tools :

• Analyze, configure and tune SAP BusinessObjects software deployments.
• Create SAP BusinessObjects universes, reports, and dashboards.
• Design and create data models and perform analysis on datasets to determine their quality, coverage and complexity.
• Gather and analyze the scope of business requirements and user expectations.
• Define and convert business requirements, processes, and designs into scalable BI solutions.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve BusinessObjects technical and application issues.
• Utilize SAP Crystal Reports to prepare extensive full client reports using multiple data providers and combinations of charts and tables.
• Provide mentoring, knowledge transfer, and training on all aspects of SAP BusinessObjects BI Suite and InfoBurst Enterprise usage and administration.
• Develop Xcelsius Dashboard applications using BusinessObjects connectivity mechanisms and InfoBurst XML Data Cache (XDC) connectivity.
• Utilize development tools, including SAP BusinessObjects Universe Design Tool, SAP BusinessObjects Information Design Tool, SAP BusinessObjects Web Intelligence, and Structured Query Language (SQL) in connection with requirements gathering and design of complex queries and reports.
• Provide SAP BusinessObjects subject matter expertise where applicable.
• Provide SAP BusinessObjects training and support to business users and cross-functional teams.

Minimum Requirements : Requires Masters degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business or a related Management IT field that provided the required skills, knowledge, and abilities and 3 years of experience in the job offered or in any position that provided the required skills, knowledge, and abilities. Individuals must also have demonstrable experience with the following :

Additional Information : Requires domestic and international travel (approximately 25% of time). Telecommuting allowed.
