Job Title : Case Manager

Experience : 3 years required, travel experience preferred

License : License in hand preferred, temporary license process needs to be started prior to applying

Certifications : BLS required (via AHA), CCM or ACM preferred

Must-Have :

Experience in an inpatient acute hospital setting with discharge planning.

Ability to handle a fast-paced unit with multiple discharges and admissions each day.

UR experience required.

EPIC Charting required.

Description :

A Case Manager is needed for a 13-week assignment.

The role involves discharge planning in the ortho / neuro surgical unit.

The position requires work during weekdays with some weekends and holidays.

Casual business attire is expected.

The role requires passing a basic EKG test with 80% or higher to pass.

The EKG test consists of 10 strips where the nurse must answer rhythm, rate, PRI, QRS, and interpretation.

Modules are to be completed pre-start and are billable for 3 hours.

Orientation consists of 16 hours non-billable.

A flu vaccine is required, with medical / religious exemptions and declinations allowed.
