Director Of Emergency Services

An academic medical center is seeking a dedicated Director of Emergency Services to lead its high-volume, high-acuity emergency department. This is a full-time, day-shift role overseeing 25 ER beds and rapid care areas, along with multiple functional sites, supporting approximately 115 FTEs. The ideal candidate will have recent acute care ED leadership experience and a track record of improving metrics, operational performance, and patient outcomes.

Shift Details

  • Full-time, day shift, administrative hours
  • No weekends required
  • Oversee multiple emergency care locations including fast-track and FSER operations

    • Your Role

  • Direct all emergency services operations, staffing, and performance management
  • Implement evidence-based practices to advance patient safety and quality
  • Foster interdisciplinary collaboration and high-quality patient-centered care
  • Monitor budgets, labor management, and operational efficiency
  • Develop and coach staff while cultivating a culture of accountability and engagement
  • Collaborate with leadership on service expansion and strategic growth
